Introduction: In today's class we begin talking about the topic of the jobs, employment, and future posibilities.

Task 1Group Discussion

  • Do you currently work? If so, what do you do?
  • What are your responsibilities and schedules?
  • Why did you choose the career you are currently studying?
  • What is your dream job? Why is it your dream?
  • When you were a young child, what jobs did you think were cool?
  • How do you feel about those jobs now?
  • What jobs do you think will disappear in the future? Why?
  • In what areas of our lives do you think new kinds of jobs will be created? What will those new future jobs be?
  • Use the vocabulary words below to describe different jobs:
    • Dirty

    • Challenging
    • Underpaid
    • Dangerous
    • Exciting
    • Enjoyable
    • Well-paid
    • Stressful
