Introduction: Hello and welcome to Week 9 of the course Teaching and Assessing Listening for the master's in English teaching at ULACIT term IIICO 2022. In today's class we will begin creating your assessment project by defining your listening construct and assessment framework. 

Today's Goals:
  • Follow a systematic approach to listening assessment design in order to create your listening construct and assessment framework.
  • Plan how you and your partners will work outside of class time to create your listening assessment project.
Guiding Question
  • How do I know if my listening assessment is vailid, reliable, and fair?
  • How do language constructs and assessment frameworks help me create a valid assessment?





Topic 1: Instructions for Listening Assessment Assignment
Your group project this term involves you designing your own listening assessment proposal. We will spend our entire class working on this but before we do, let's take a moment to read what is expected.
