Introduction: Hello everyone, and welcome to Week 6 of the course English V at Universidad Castro Carazo term IC 2024. In today's class we are talking about stories of survival and ways to describe past events in vivid and entertaining ways. 

Goals: In today's class we will
  • Use narrative tenses and colorful adverbs to tell an original story of survival.
  • Read about real people who survived an emergency in the ocean and compare their experiences.

Guiding Questions: By the end of today's class you will be able to provide a thoughtful response to the following questions
  • How can I narrate events in the past?
  • How can adverbs help me add detail to stories?
